Germany Day 6 - Neuschwanstein page 1 of 2

Today, I am touring on a bus. Fellow bus passengers are mostly annoying Americans. I think I might prefer the totally cold Germans. Maybe. Ok maybe not.
First stop.. Linderhof!

The fall colors again were a treat

Around the palace grounds

Pimp my ceiling!

Linderhof's backyard

And what palace would be complete without fountains.. lots of fountains

On to Oberammergau

This was actually an evangelical Lutheran church.

There was a little festival going on today (or maybe every day?) and what festivals really need are barrels of beer!

The classic painted houses that Oberammergau is known for

Gruss Gott. Wie Gehts?

My tour bus. Note: Toto, I've a feeling we are not in England anymore.

Neuschwanstein!! The big daddy! The big kahuna! The fairy tale castle to make all other castles weep.
Note - From this point onward, expect Neuschwanstein picture overload. You are warned.

Hah. Fooled you! This is not Neuschwanstein. Nay, this is Hohenschwangau. It is weeping.

Hohenschwangau cries from a lion's mouth? Say it ain't so.

Walking to.. where else.. Neuschwanstein!
